Hospital security urged to embrace CMS guidelines

IAHSS spokesperson explains how security staffs can embrace guidelines while improving security


Hospital protection professionals can embrace Joint Commission and CMS Compliance guidelines while improving security and safety, according to a video on the Campus Safety website.

IAHSS Immediate Past President David LaRose said that security directors should have nothing to fear if they set up their programs with the guidelines provided by CMS and the Joint Commission in mind.

In LaRose’s interview with Campus Safety magazine at the IAHSS 2016 annual conference, he describes the approach he takes in complying with Joint Commission and CMS guidelines.
