Indiana healthcare construction boom continuing

Some insurance brokers and employer groups concerned that expense could keep pushing up healthcare costs

Central Indiana is experiencing a healthcare construction boom that shows no signs of slowing down, according to an article on the Indianapolis Business Journal website.

Central Indiana is already full of unused beds, as payers demand lower-cost settings, such as urgent care centers and outpatient surgery centers, for many treatments, the article said.
