Solutions that once took the healthcare design industry by storm, such as access to natural daylight or the use of healing art, are now the new design standard, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. Healthcare Design Showcase jurors noted that this trend left this year’s crop of submissions looking very similar to those of previous years, the article said, but the overall quality of the submissions is rising to meet the standard set by the pioneers.
