Interlogix shows new Advisor One self-contained panel and AdvisorSync application at ISC West

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Interlogix, a leader in security and life-safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, showcased new self-contained and mobile applications — part of the Advisor family of security and comfort management platforms — at ISC West. AdvisorOne and AdvisorSync combine advanced life-safety and lifestyle functions for both home and small-business use. Interlogix is a part of UTC Building & Industrial Systems, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

AdvisorOne is an attractive choice for both end users and installers with its large 7-inch, color touch screen with easy-to-use features and customizable functionality.

“Robust life-safety features and security solutions are combined in the AdvisorOne panel,” said Kirk MacDowell, vice president, sales of intrusion, Interlogix. “Plus, the solution is equally capable of meeting the requirements of a home, condominium or small business.”

AdvisorOne will offer many options for security management and can be controlled locally from a built-in touch screen or with auxiliary Advisor touch screens. It can also be controlled remotely via mobile applications. End users will be able to conveniently manage security and lifestyle needs through the following:

·       Dynamic, multi-language support

·       High zone counts, both wired and wireless

·       More connectivity options with broadband-ready connectivity. Users also can add a Wi-Fi radio for connectivity to secondary touch screens and Internet Protocol cameras, as well as GSM/GPRS modems for cellular communication

·       Controls such as door locks, lights, thermostats and electric appliances via Z-Wave® protocol and Bluetooth® for additional system control from Bluetooth-enabled devices

·       Customizable user interface

AdvisorOne’s built-in applications provide users with updated news, weather, sports and traffic information. The panel acts as a monitor for security camera systems and can serve as a digital photo display.

AdvisorSync, a new remote management platform powered by Interlogix, will allow end users to communicate with the panel via an app on a smartphone or tablet. With AdvisorSync, end users will be able to arm and disarm the panel; control door locks; turn lights on and off; control thermostats; and view zone status, system status and event history.

“AdvisorSync will be the exclusive mobile application that allows customers to manage Advisor systems remotely,” MacDowell said. “With both AdvisorOne and AdvisorSync, we listened to our customers and dedicated ourselves to meeting their expectations in the design of a comprehensive security management and lifestyle enhancement control platform.”

Both products will be available this summer throughout the Americas.
