Introducing new stylish and efficient Lithonia Lighting LED closet light for residental and light commercial applications

ATLANTA - Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE:AYI) continues to expand its extensive portfolio of residential and light commercial LED lighting solutions with the new LED Closet Light from Lithonia Lighting®. The LED Closet Light presents a new spin on a traditional fixture featuring advanced LED technology for a stylish and efficient lighting solution.

Measuring just 6-5/8 inches wide and 4-1/4 inches tall, the new LED Closet Light is small enough to fit in the average person's hand, yet delivers 575 lumens consuming only 10.4 watts. "The LED Closet Light is designed to be small, yet versatile, to enable mounting the fixture flush to ceiling or wall surfaces in tight spaces," said Ryan Ramaker, Lithonia Lighting Senior Value Stream Leader, Decorative Indoor. "This low-profile fixture incorporates advanced LED technology to deliver a more efficient luminaire than traditional sources, with better quality lighting. The combination of its compact design and highly impactful light output make it ideal for the residential and light commercial marketplace."

The LED Closet Light is best suited for closets, hallways, pantries, corridors, utility areas and similarly defined spaces. The new offering features a white acrylic diffuser and removable pull chain - reminiscent of older-style fixtures - for easy operation. Additionally, long-life LED output of as much as 30,000 hours means end-users recoup energy savings, while not having to worry about the time or hassle of changing lamps in a small space.
