Kingspan Brings its Kooltherm Premium Performance Insulation to the U.S.

Kingspan Insulation announced its launch of its internationally renowned premium performance rigid thermoset insulation, Kooltherm®, into the U.S. The Kingspan Kooltherm® line offers an extensive range of products for wall, floor, soffit and

rainscreen applications. It has a fiber-free rigid thermoset phenolic insulation core that resists both moisture and water vapor ingress, and exhibits class-leading fire performance.

“Kingspan is committed to bringing its globally innovative technology to the North American market,” said Alswinn Kieboom, managing director, Kingspan Insulation North America. “As part of this continuing effort, we are excited to offer our Kooltherm insulation to the construction marketplace. Our class-leading R-value and fire resistance properties will prove to be beneficial to the construction community.”

With an R-value of 16 on two inches, Kooltherm® has a higher R-value than any commonly used insulation. It is manufactured with a blowing agent that has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Kooltherm can provide reliable long-term thermal performance over the lifetime of the building. It is ideal for new construction as well as retrofit.

Kooltherm® has been used in many prestigious buildings globally such as the Emirates Stadium in London, England; the Perth Arena in Perth, Australia; and the Palace of Justice courthouse in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
