Lunera Lighting adds greater variety to plug-and-play HID LED lighting replacements at BOMA

Lunera Lighting, Inc., a leader in lighting innovations accelerating the transformation to advanced LED technology, will be featuring the Susan Lamp and Lucy Lamp high-intensity discharge (HID) plug-and-play LED replacement lamps in Booth# 944 at BOMA International's Every Building Conference & Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center, June 28 - 30, 2015.

"Building owners now have the flexibility to replace more of their energy consuming traditional lighting with the wide variety of plug-and-play replacements that only Lunera has available," said Lunera's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom Quinn. We have expanded our lamp replacement portfolio to offer a greater choice of temperatures, orientations and wattages, so building owners can easily replace a significantly wider range of lighting applications," added Quinn.

Susan Lamp

Ambient interior ceiling light can now be achieved with the vertical with uplight versions of the Lunera Susan Lamp. Buildings can replace traditional metal halide uplights to bathe the ceiling with a soft near daylight glow, while illuminating the area below. Replace energy consuming horizontal HID lamps with high luminance LEDs to highlight objects or areas of interest.

The Susan Lamp features Lunera's proprietary MultiWatt adaptive wattage technology for multiple ballasts. Driven by the existing ballast, the Susan Lamp is a plug-and-play HID replacement for Mogul (E39) base vertical, vertical with uplight or horizontal mount lamps or for a vertical mount Medium (E26) base. Exterior lamp applications include: Wallpack fixtures; Shoebox fixtures commonly used in parking lots and Parking Garage fixtures designed around metal halide lamps.

Designed for long duty cycles, the Susan Lamp saves up to 80% in lighting energy costs and virtually eliminates ongoing maintenance expenses. This highly effective plug-and-play replacement solution eliminates five HID lamp replacement cycles throughout it's' long (L70) 50,000-hour lifespan.

Lucy Lamp

As an interior or exterior high-pressure sodium (HPS) lamp replacement, the plug-and-play Lucy Lamp is offered in horizontal, vertical or vertical with uplight versions. A dramatic improvement in exterior lighting can be achieved when near-daylight quality LED illumination replaces the dim yellow haze associated with outdoor HPS lighting.

Don't bypass the ballast, this instant-on LED solution features Lunera's MultiWatt adaptive wattage technology and supports a wide range of wattages to reduce inventory and maintenance hassles. The Lucy Lamp is available for Mogul or Medium base sockets and offers twice the lifetime of a standard HPS lamp.

The Lucy Lamp eliminates disruptive installation and maintenance downtime for parking lots, warehouses, industrial and other facilities. Building owners will appreciate the minimal time, cost and effort it takes to reduce lighting energy consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional indoor or outdoor HPS lamps.

BallastLED Technology

Lunera's proven BallastLED technology enables its lamps to operate directly off a fixture's existing ballast, making an upgrade to LED lighting a simple plug-and-play installation without additional costs of hiring an electrician or electrical contractor. By eliminating the need to modify or replace fixtures, Lunera lamps dramatically reduce installation time, workplace disruption and conversion costs.

Where to Buy and Financing

Lunera's BallastLED lamp products are available through authorized nationwide distributors. Financing options are available from Lunera. Utility rebates and the immediate energy savings gained through LED use can help offset upfront expenses for lighting retrofits.
