Pop-up hospitals are becoming increasingly popular around the world because of their efficiency and cost-effective construction, according to an article on The Economic Voice. Some traditional hospitals also rely on pop-up constructions to meet seasonal or special needs.

Temporary structures allow hospitals to operate during transitional phases without disrupting business. They are also more affordable to construct than permanent or traditional hospital structures. 

Cost-effective temporary structures also allow aging hospital departments to operate during the renovations of their permanent building.

Temporary buildings are changing the role that field hospitals can play in healthcare delivery. When it comes to global emergencies, pop-up hospitals can meet healthcare needs during natural disasters or other epidemics.
