Safeguarding imaging facilities

The most important thing when dealing with a natural disaster is having a plan

The most important thing when safeguarding an imaging facility during a natural disaster is having a plan, according to an article on the NEMA website.

The first step to creating a plan is to identify an emergency plan administrator to oversee the development and evolution of that plan and run the emergency drills.

Review the plans for evacuation, fire procedures, security, facility closures, hazardous and radioactive materials, etc.
