SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – ThermaSol, the inventors and global leader in the manufacturing of steam bath equipment for commercial and residential use has completed the purchase of 27 acres in Round Rock, Texas. They will be moving their headquarters from Simi Valley, CA in the fourth quarter of 2014. When completed, the facility will be a 37,000 square foot manufacturing plant covering 3.5 acres of the parcel. In all, 45 employees from ThermaSol’s existing location will be making the move to Texas, including management. Along with their new manufacturing plant, ThermaSol will also be developing an upscale business park near their new headquarters.

In regard to the move to Texas, Mitch Altman, CEO of ThermaSol said, “We looked at many places in Central Texas, and found that Round Rock gave us the most comfortable feeling. We liked the bigger town amenities, but also like the small town feeling and warmth of the people.” He continued, “It was very important to me that my relocating California team have the quality of life they deserve.” Round Rock is one of the fastest growing cities in the nation, and one of the best-managed cities in Texas. Growing by more than 220% from 1990 to 2010, the city has maintained a high quality of life and become a major center for economic growth in Central Texas.

To fully embrace the move and the proposed development of the plant and the business park, ThermaSol will be joining the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce Momentum Group, to assist in the growth of this special community and to help the relocating team acclimate as quickly as possible into their new homes. The Momentum Group is the Economic Development arm of the Chamber of Commerce. “The Round Rock Chamber was an enormous help to us as well. I can’t say enough about how easy and welcoming Ben White and Kyle Shulz made it for us. Steve Norwood, Brad Wiseman, from Round Rock also played a major role working with us on some special issues to make this all happen,” said Altman.
