Union Village project in Henderson, Nev., will be the first integrated health village in the world, integrating a healthcare center into retail, entertainment, residential and senior living, and culture centers, according to an article on the Healthcare Design website. The 155-acre Union Village development will center around an acute care hospital and will incorporate senior housing, a fitness club, retail locations, a skilled nursing center, and long-term acute care facilities.
