Family and visitor spaces are getting more attention in today's healthcare facilities, according to a blog by Anne DiNardo on the Healthcare Design magazine website. Two things are driving this trend according to DiNardo — the recognition that family members are an important part of the patient’s care team and proliferation of technology that is freeing visitors to move about and still stay connected.
