Eight hospitals were recognized by patients for having the cleanest rooms


Eight hospitals in Wisconsin were recognized by patients for having cleanest rooms, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.

For these hospitals, 88 percent or more of patients reported on their HCAHPS surveys that their room and bathroom were "always" clean.

Wisconsin's average rate for patients reporting their room and bathroom were "always" clean is 80 percent. The national average is 74 percent.

The top two hospitals were Stoughton (Wis.) Hospital with 91 percent and Oakleaf Surgical Hospital (Altoona) with 90 percent.
