New Software Tool for Hospital Environmental Services Teams

5-Customer service requests can be communicated by QR code scans. Visitors, patients, and staff can request service via QR scan signage posted in high traffic public areas using a smart device. The ES Manager receives the service request on his or her mobile device and can immediately assign a Tech, who gets an alert.

Many other advantages result from digitalizing all communications in one platform. As work logged on mobile devices goes directly into the database, no additional data entry or sifting through paper logs are required for regular reporting. In addition to eliminating the need for paper assignments, ES Service Optimizer also alleviates the need for pagers and phone tag.
