The AVA CoolFix incorporates a Neoperl® Cache® aerator that reduces water flow to 1.5 gallons per minute without using hot water unnecessarily. The single-lever faucet is designed to flow full cold, with no hot water delivered when in the 6 o'clock position. The only way to draw warm water is to deliberately rotate the lever clockwise and away from the middle position to increase energy use.
