AHF Adds Third Dallas Medical Center

AHF adds new healthcare center to Dallas Oak Lawn site.

By HFT Staff

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) is expanding services in Dallas in the Oak Lawn district. The new clinic will allow patients improved access to their providers by experiencing AHF’s new open floor plan clinic model.

In 2017, Texas was ranked the third among 50 states for most cases of new HIV infections, according to the Center of Disease Control. More specifically, Dallas County had an estimated 18,073 people who were living with HIV, which was a 44 percent increase since 2008.

AHF first began providing services in Dallas in 2014. With the addition of the Oak Lawn site, it will have three AHF Healthcare Centers in Dallas, two AHF Wellness Centers and three AHF Pharmacy locations.
