AHF culinary competition winners named

Teams were judged on organization, time management, culinary skills, originality, taste and plate presentation


Saint Clare Health Systems took top honors in the Association for Healthcare Foodservice culinary competition, according to an article on the FoodService Supplies and Equipment website.

The award-winning dish from Saint Clare's in Denville, N.J., was Bodacious Beans and Bass. Representing Saint Clare's were Joanne McMillian, director, and Aatul Jain, retail operations manager and chef.

The teams and their dishes were judged on organization, time management, culinary skills, originality, taste, plate presentation and use of the mystery ingredient.
