Access Control Hardware Awarded For Safety


ASSA ABLOY Group brand Adams Rite was awarded the distinguished Gold Govies Government Security Award at ISC West 2018. Sponsored by Security Today and GovSec, The Govies honor outstanding government security products. The Adams Rite EX89 Pullman Rim Exit Device was honored with a Gold Govies Government Security Award in the Access Control Devices/Peripherals category. 

The Adams Rite EX89 Pullman Rim Exit Device is one of four models in the new EX Series Exit Devices from Adams Rite for narrow stile aluminum applications. Featuring a ¾-inch Pullman latch bolt that is compatible with the Adams Rite 74R1 Electric Strike, the EX89 Pullman Rim Device is designed for use on single doors or with mullion on pairs of doors. The EX89 Pullman Rim Device is suitable for medium and high-traffic areas on common door types.

The Govies are coordinated by the Security Today. Using a panel of independent judges from the security industry, Security Today named winners using a criterion including Features Innovation, User Friendliness, Interoperability, Quality, Design, Market Opportunity, Impact in the Security Industry, Technical Advances and Scalability.
