Adair County Health System Announces Re-Opening Date for Facility

The facility sustained damage from a tornado this past May and has been closed since then.

Adair County Health System (ACHS) has an update regarding the re-opening of their facility: they have rescheduled the full resumption of services to November 11, 2024.

Unexpected construction delays have necessitated this adjustment. This additional time will help them ensure that their facility is safe, well-equipped and ready to provide care.

Although all hospital operations are resuming on November 11, construction will continue for several months. ACHS will build a new ambulance garage and EMS house, which were completely destroyed in a storm and tornado this past May. Physical therapy services will remain available at the Adair County Fitness Center during the ongoing repairs and renovations to this area of the health system.
