A rotating art exhibit in the lobby of the Fayetteville (N.C.) VA Health Care Center was designed to give visitors a comforting feel as they walk in for procedures or test results, according to an article on the Fayetteville Observer website.
Rotating exhibits from local artists will be hung in the lobby of the outpatient healthcare center.
Officials said they believe it is the first rotating art exhibit in any Veterans Affairs healthcare facility. The featured art stays on display for three months.
“It was just an idea to enhance the environment here, but also give a little eye candy for the veterans and staff here as well,” Carrie Callahan, chairwoman of the Fayetteville Health Care Center Arts Committee, said in the article.
