Aspirus Acquires Sole Ownership of Health Plan

Aspirus is pleased to announce that it has completed the purchase of WPS Health Solutions’ ownership stake in Aspirus Arise Health Plan of Wisconsin, making Aspirus the sole owner of the Wisconsin-based health plan.

Aspirus Arise was created in 2016 as a joint venture between Aspirus and WPS. Aspirus Arise has experienced strong growth through its innovative approaches to health insurance and transparent interactions with customers.

Aspirus and WPS maintain a strong working relationship, and WPS continues to provide the same support services, such as claims processing and customer service, to Aspirus Arise members. The ownership transition will not affect Aspirus Arise employees, plan members or providers.
