Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to build a $1 billion medical campus


Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta plans to construct a hospital complex that will cost between $1 and $1.3 billion, according to an article on the Curbed Atlanta website.

The project would be the most costly medical campus ever built in Georgia.

It’s likely many of the single-story office buildings that currently stand on the 45-acre campus will be torn down to build mid- and high-rise structures. 

The hospital is building for demand anticipated over the next two decades.
