Lady Cilento Children's Hospital admits mistakes were made in the rush to open. The new Queensland facility was hit with complaints about cleaning and catering, IT systems, staffing, cancelled operations and bed capacity, according to an article on the ABC website.
The report on the hospital came from an independent panel appointed by the Queensland Government.
An earlier report found there was confusion following the opening, with staff not adequately trained and some services were not in place.
Opposition leader Lawrence Springborg, who was health minister at the time the hospital opened, has called the report a "witch hunt."
