Staffers say they raised concerns months before the facility took action


Bed bugs have been found in a Helena nursing home and staffers say they raised concerns months before the facility took action, according to an article on the KPAX website.

But the interim administrator of Rocky Mountain Healthcare Community said the nursing home acted on the problem as soon as it was aware of the bed bugs and that the facility is now free of the pests.

Before the exterminators came at least two residents suffered bites or rashes, according to a recent inspection report by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
