In the Office Equipment category, Boyd took the top prize for patient chairs, receiving a full 31% of all votes. ⁽¹⁾ The company’s popular orthodontic patient chairs feature ergonomic design characteristics that provide comfort for the patient while allowing easy access to the patient by the doctor or staff member. The chairs feature a programmable foot control with three memory settings, including a “Home” button that returns the chair to its starting position. Also in the Office Equipment category, Boyd received first prize for its doctor and assistant seating. Most stools include ergonomic features to support the lumbar and promote good posture thus reducing dental staff fatigue. For maximum comfort, the BOS279 stool features a saddle seat and adjustable back with floating lumbar support.
