Technology can now allow FMs to provide greater individual control in patient room. Rooms can be set up so the patient has the ability to change temperature and the humidity with the TV in their room.

Individual rooms are monitored by an overall building system that sets the basic parameters.

A building automation system integrated control platform can draw on a number of technologies in  each patient room to focus on delivering those elements of satisfaction, increasing the efficiency of the staff, and reducing the energy consumption of each space.
