The North Bay area of California, comprising Marin, Napa, Solano and Sonoma counties, will see a number of major health care construction projects underway in 2013, with some either reaching key phases or completion by 2014, according to the North Bay Business Journal.
Among the projects is the new $284 million Sutter Medical Center of Santa Rosa, which will replace the current facility that has been judged seismically unfit. The new facility has a planned 2014 opening.
Other projects also include a complete rebuild of Marin General Hospital’s 235-bed facility — a $500 million project — Queen of the Valley’s $122 million project in Napa and Sonoma Valley Hospital’s $39 million upgrade.
