The Health Facilities Management's latest "Last Detail" feature looks at the design of the Chickasaw Nation Health Clinic in Ardmore, Okla.

According to the article, the facility paid homage to the culture it serves through design and use of materials by layering a combination of more modern materials such as steel and glass and more traditional wood and stone. 

Lights suspended from the vaulted ceiling provide a dramatic flair for patients and visitors as they enter the facility, the article said.
