Choosing patient-unit flooring

A flooring mock-up can be an ideal way to show all the options

A video on the Array Architects website demonstrates a flooring mock-up designed to show New York Presbyterian Hospital stakeholders their options, while also test driving the materials in an active healing environment.

The video shows the design team as they test various flooring materials at the hospital.

The choices are viewed through many lenses, including  durablility, sustainability, maintainability, appearance and cost.
