Clarke FM40 orbital floor machines solve need for more powerful, versatile cleaning

Clarke, the tried and trusted brand for commercial floor cleaning solutions, introduces the Clarke FM40 ST and LX Orbital Floor Machines. The FM40 floor machine models are specifically designed to provide more powerful and versatile cleaning for unmatched performance in both wet and dry applications.

“The FM40 machines meet a need among operators for a machine that helps them do more in less time,” said Jonathan Kingsbury, vice president of Commercial Sales with Nilfisk. “These floor machines are powerful, durable and versatile, yet quiet, to help operators get the job done and get it done quickly, easily and effectively with building occupants, if necessary.

Both the FM40 ST standard model and LX deluxe model feature a 20x14 inch cleaning path with a 1.5 horsepower motor, 160 pounds of down pressure, and a 3,540 RPM pad driver so floors get cleaner in fewer passes. Both are versatile enough to be used in hard-to-reach spaces, such as corners and tight spaces, and with the appropriate pads, can be used to prep gym floors for finish recoat; clean grout in bathrooms; burnish terrazzo, marble and concrete; and bonnet clean carpet.  When paired with the Clarke BOOST autoscrubbers, the FM40 ST and LX help operators clean virtually any floor regardless of its size or shape.

The FM40 LX deluxe model also includes an attachable baseboard-cleaning tool to eliminate manual baseboard cleaning by custodians. And its wheels up/wheels down feature provides improved maneuverability and full modularity, making the FM40 LX the perfect machine to transport to and from various job sites.

The FM40 ST and LX replace Clarke’s BOS18 orbital scrubbers.
