The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) is seeking submissions for its 2013 Journal. The deadline is May 31.

As the official publication of the organization, the journal explores topics of interest to those involved in healthcare architecture, planning, design and construction. According to the AHA, the goal is “to promote awareness, educational exchange, and advancement of the overall project-delivery process and building products.”

As such, submitted entries may be articles, project case studies, completed research projects or monographs in the field of healthcare design. All submissions should be timely — they could preview new trends or address industry wide topics and emerging technologies.

Suggested topics include:

Comprehensive planning for healthcare

Basic architecture services for hospitals

Project management for healthcare

Healthcare delivery trends and issues

Service delivery issues and opportunities
