There is a host of stakeholders inside a facility who public safety and security departments must serve, according to an article on the Campus Safety website.

The most obvious internal customers are emergency department staffers because they are the hospital employees who are most likely to experience security problems. 

There are more ways hospital security departments can be of service to their organization, including providing parking security and executive protection. 

Meeting the needs of a hospital’s internal customers can be a challenge, but it can be accomplished with the right personnel, training and security technology.
