Denver Health upgrades regional Ebola treatment center

DHMC improved the ventilation system and added doors to better isolate the area


Denver Health Medical Center (DHMC) has improved its Ebola treatment center, according to an article on the Denver CBS website.

 

Among other upgrades, DHMC improved the ventilation system and added doors to better isolate the area.

 

The biocontainment unit now has its own lab and waste management system.

 

“There’s nothing else like it in this region,” Dr. Connie Price, Chief Medical Officer at DHMC, said in the article.
