Digital Signage Expo 2016 Seminar to present 'Creating Immersive Experiences'

Digital Signage Expo (DSE), the world’s largest international trade show and educational conference dedicated to digital displays, interactive technology and digital communications networks, announced today that its 24-part Digital Signage Seminar Program at DSE 2016 designed specifically for End Users interested in designing and developing immersive customer experiences through digital communications, will include an hour-long session titled, “Creating Immersive Experiences in Retail.”

On Thursday, March 17, from 9:15-10:15 a.m., Shikatani Lacroix Design’s Marcos Terenzio, Director of Digital Experiences, and Richard Dirstein, Executive Vice President of Design & Innovation, will co-present a session that will share the way in which they have used digital experiences to create immersive customer journeys. Attendees will learn how effective digital integration creates an emotional connection with customers that fits the brand and customer needs.

DSE Advisory Board members recently had the opportunity to comment on this timely topic, including:

“When your audience finds messaging relevant and helpful, their likelihood to continue to view the signage and to think of it as valuable information greatly increases.”

Kim Dwyer, Corporate Communications Senior Account Manager, Marketing & Public Relations, Nationwide Children’s Hospital

“The technology is now available to design impressive immersive environments for various budgets, but the need remains to ensure that the messaging is valuable and relevant as well as fun and easy to engage with.”

Patricia Mitrano, Director of Visual Communications, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center
