Diversey Care's StandOut durable floor finish reduces maintenance and protects appearance of floors in high-use environments

Sealed Air’s Diversey Care division now offers a long-lasting, low-maintenance floor finish specifically targeted to meet the unique floor care needs of healthcare environments. StandOut™ Durable Floor Finish is designed to protect floors from hand sanitizer damage and daily wear and tear in high-traffic areas, while still being repairable and removable.

“Proper floor maintenance ensures an impressive appearance for patients and visitors, and also eliminates costly disruptions,” said Carolyn Cooke, Vice President Healthcare North America, Diversey Care. “StandOut is twice as durable as conventional finishes, providing greater resistance to the spots, deterioration and scuffs caused by gel, foam and liquid hand sanitizers and foot traffic. Plus, it offers chemical and labor savings over the lifetime of the floor, resulting in a stronger bottom line.”

StandOut Durable Floor Finish is dispensed through an innovative and safe 2-in-1 package that  allows employees to effortlessly burst the inner seal between the chemicals to blend the final product. The correct proportions are predetermined, eliminating guesswork and ensuring precise application every time. Maximum performance is achieved with only four coats and dries up to 50 percent faster than conventional finishes. StandOut floor finish has a low-odor, 2-in-1 formula that requires less burnishing and extends scrub and recoat frequencies by up to 50 percent, drastically minimizing inconvenient maintenance procedures.

Unlike other durable coatings in the market, StandOut Durable Floor Finish is 100 percent removable on vinyl composition tile (VCT) and linoleum substrates with conventional Diversey Care strippers and traditional stripping methods. When used with Diversey Care’s ProSpeed™ Finish Applicator, facilities can achieve even quicker and more consistent coverage.
