Dual-Lite launches recessed ceiling-mount indoor LED

Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced that Dual-Lite has launched its new EV4R Series - a recessed, ceiling-mounted, emergency light with superior emergency lighting coverage.

"We are seeing a significant increase in specified projects where low profile, non-intrusive emergency lighting is a requirement," said Rob Papstein, senior product manager at Dual-Lite. "Architects will agree that the most appealing emergency light is the one that's invisible. Specifying engineers, lighting designers and facility managers will be pleased with the architectural design of the EV4R."

While the design community will enjoy the embedded EV4R design that reveals less than 3/16"  below the ceiling plane, specifiers will be excited to see it offers exceptional emergency lighting performance – up to 42’ spacing on mounting heights from 9’ to 12’.  Typical recessed emergency fixtures hang 6" below the ceiling plane and must be spaced 12' apart to meet Life Safety Code requirements. And customers now have the option of using  a rectangular or round trim-plate included with each fixture, in white or black finish to help complement the compact, low-profile design.

Features & Certifications:

·       Round or rectangular trim-plate in white or black finish

·       Flame-rated, UV stable thermoplastic housing, IC rated

·       Four LEDs housed within an aluminum heat-sink

·       Individual LEDs are driven at 1 watt each for 88 lumens per LED

·       UL924 damp location listed, NFPA 101 and NFPA 70

·       Temperature Range: 50 ̊ to 104 ̊F (10 ̊ to 40 ̊C)
