Dual-Lite's new EVE series LED exit sign ensures efficient and reliable illumination

By Healthcare Facilities Today

Greenville, SC – Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, announced that it has added an ultra-efficient, technologically advanced, compact exit sign—Dual-Lite’s EVE Series LED Exit Sign—to its comprehensive selection of emergency lighting products. The newest member of the popular Evolution EV-LED emergency lighting family, the EVE Series is a compact architectural LED exit sign designed for efficiency, long life, fast installation, reliability, and low maintenance.

The sleek and durable EVE Series provides bright and uniform illumination utilizing efficient, long-life red or green LEDs rated at over 100,000 hours or 10 years. The fixture’s long life-cycle Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery provides a full 90 minutes of emergency exit illumination in the event of a power failure, and a low voltage battery disconnect (LVD) protects the battery during prolonged outages. The EVE Series accepts 120/277VAC input at 60Hz and optional 220-240VAC input at 50 or 60 HZ with a self-diagnostics option and includes a constant current charger. With an external push-to-test switch and AC-on indicator, manual testing is available at any time.

Dual-Lite’s new exit sign has a durable housing and the canopy is made from injection molded, flame-rated UV stable ABS thermoplastic with a lightly textured white or black finish. The compact EVE Series is designed for quick and easy wall, ceiling or end mounting and includes pre-stripped AC input leads.

The fixture’s operating temperature range is 20°C to 30°C, it is NFPA 101 and NFPA 70 certified and the panel face exceeds UL924 requirements for brightness and uniformity. The exit sign comes with a full five-year warranty, and the battery is equipped with a three-year full/seven-year pro-rated warranty. For applications in damp locations, please contact Dual-Lite.
