ELB Electronics announces BIAX LED direct replacement lamp

ELB Electronics, a global manufacturer of LED lighting products, continues to add to its line of direct replacement LED lamps with the announcement of the TTL/Biax Quick-Fit™Linear LED replacement lamp.

The new product introduction can save up to 40 percent in energy when compared with replacing standard 40-watt TTL fluorescent lamps operating on electronic ballasted lighting fixtures. Additional savings of 20-30% can be achieved when combining with a low factor ballast or lighting control system. The unit features a rotatable 2G11 end cap for applications where an existing lamp socket is not perpendicular to the ceiling.

The Multi-Operation LED product is the most versatile linear lamp on the market today and is compatible with most electronic and magnetic ballasts including existing fluorescent battery back-up ballasts.

Installation is easy since it just requires removing the existing fluorescent lamps and inserting the LED linear lamp. This saves both time and money considering that it does not require re-wiring. If the ballast fails, the LED lamp can still operate using a replacement ballast or an optional 120-277VAC LED remote driver.

Ideal for retail and hospitality applications, the latest ELB direct replacement lamp is also suitable for general lighting in offices, educational and medical facilities.

This is the latest of ELB LED direct replacement lamps and complements the existing line of 2, 3, 4 and 8-foot linear fluorescents, three U-bend models and downlights.

The Biax lamp is available in four standard color temperatures (3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K) clear or frosted lens, does not flicker and is dimmable. The lamp is backed with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
