ELB Electronics debuts led T8 U-bend and 8-foot direct replacement lamps

ARCADIA, Calif. ─ ELB Electronics, a global manufacturer of LED lighting products, announces the debut of two new product designs for LED T8 U-Bend and 8-foot direct replacement lamps.

The innovative two-piece design provides easy handling and transportation. Can you imagine trying to fit an 8-foot lamp into your vehicle without breaking it? It's easy to carry or store and ships as easily. With the new ELB Electronics 8' single-pin lamp, the two-piece assembly simply snaps together, similar to how you would add an attachment to your vacuum cleaner. And the unique design meets the industry demand for such a product. The U-Bend design is the only one in the marketplace to fully illuminate.

Up to 40 percent of energy can be cut with the new ELB lamp when replacing existing fluorescent T8 (32-watt) and T12 (40-watt) electronic and magnetic ballasted fixtures. When combined with a low ballast factor ballast or lighting control system, energy costs can be reduced by another 20-30 percent.

The Multi-Operation LED product is the most versatile linear lamp on the market today and is compatible with most existing fluorescent battery back-up ballasts. It works with multiple input sources such as T8 Electronic Instant Start, T8 Program Start Electronic and T12 Magnetic ballasts. What's more, it doesn't require any re-wiring of the light fixture.

Installation is easy since is just requires removing the existing fluorescent lamps and inserting the LED linear lamp. If the ballast fails, the LED lamp can still operate using an optional 120-277VAC LED remote

The ELB lamp, which is available in two, three, four or five foot lengths with either a clear or frosted lens, does not flicker and is dimmable. It has less lumen depreciation than other fluorescent systems and is backed with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

The Linear LED direct replacement lamps meets UL standard 1598c.
