ENT of Georgia South Expands Network to Colo Atl Data Center and Colocation Facility

Colo Atl, the leading provider of carrier-neutral colocation, data center and interconnection services at 55 Marietta Street in Atlanta, announces today that ENT of Georgia South, Atlanta's oldest and most established medical practice focusing on the specialty of otolaryngology, has expanded within Colo Atl’s downtown Atlanta facility for data center and interconnection services. Previously, ENT of Georgia South shared colocation space at Colo Atl with its sister company, ENT of Georgia North, which serves the greater Metro Atlanta area with over 12 office locations.

ENT of Georgia South offers its patients four convenient locations in Fayetteville, Buckhead and Stockbridge. The growing medical practice sought to separate its database apart from ENT of Georgia North, and therefore secured its own space within the Colo Atl facility, along with purchasing new equipment. The medical practice will utilize Colo Atl’s colocation services and fiber network connectivity in a secure, convenient location in downtown Atlanta, while experiencing no monthly recurring cross connect fees within the Colo Atl meet-me-area (MMA).

“Sharing colocation space with our sister company, ENT of Georgia North, we had great experience in housing our servers at Colo Atl’s secure facility in downtown Atlanta,” states Tina Jackson, Office Manager for ENT of Georgia South. “When it came time for us to expand due to our growing patient roster and otolaryngology services, we already knew we had a trusted data center and interconnection services provider in Colo Atl, so the decision to expand our network within its facility was an easy one. Colo Atl is easy to work with, and offers reliable, secure colocation in an ideal location for us in Atlanta.”

“Medical practices, hospitals and other healthcare providers depend on the information provided by the network, and with that, it’s critical for the medical information that is stored to be done so in a secure, mission-critical, HIPAA-compliant data center and colocation facility,” comments Tim Kiser, Owner and Founder of Colo Atl. “I am honored to be the chosen data center provider for ENT of Georgia South – and North – and for providing the reliability and security it needs, as well as offer peace of mind in knowing their critical data is housed and protected, and therefore be able to focus on what they do best: offering top otolaryngology and audiology services to their patients throughout Georgia.”

Colo Atl is an Atlanta Telecom Professionals Award Nominee and Winner of the 2016 TMT News Award for Best Colocation & Data Center – Georgia and the 2016 Georgia Excellence Award by the American Economic Institute (AEI).
