Northside Hospital and Seton Medical Center Williamson win magazine's award


Northside Hospital and Seton Medical Center Williamson win Health Facility Management's ‘Departments of the Year’ awards, according to an article on the magazines websites.

Northside Hospital in Atlanta won in the 450 or more beds category.

In the last four years, the team has learned valuable lessons about the power of data, the value of effective partnerships and how to leverage the two to achieve sustained improvement in patient satisfaction, efficiency and other areas, the article said. 

Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock, Texas, won in the 150 beds or fewer category. The department’s HCAHPS scores have trended upward from below 70 to up to 85 on average.
