Ecore Names New Acoustic Engineer, Michael Raley


Ecore, a company that transforms reclaimed materials into performance surfaces that make people’s lives better, announces the hiring ofMichael Raley as acoustic engineer.

Raley has nearly 10 years of experience as an acoustical consultant specializing in architectural and environmental acoustics. He has extensive experience in acoustics for the healthcare, multi-family, hospitality, education, corporate office, and performing arts industries. 

In his new position, Raley will provide critical services to support Ecore’s customers and internal sales personnel through the Sales & Marketing and Technical Services departments. His technical and management background will play an integral role in helping the company achieve continuous growth, while his acoustic expertise will be useful in creating, modifying and certifying new and existing Ecore products.

“Michael’s extensive knowledge and expertise in architectural and environmental acoustics makes him a key asset to our team,” said Arthur Dodge, III, CEO and president of Ecore. “Designers and architects today are realizing the importance of identifying and specifying products and technologies that create optimal acoustics for different types of spaces and settings. Before joining Ecore, Raley served as an acoustical consultant, and then senior acoustical consultant, at Daly-Standlee & Associates in Portland, Ore., for 10 years. He stayed with the company through its acquisition in April 2016 by Acoustics By Design. During his tenure he managed a wide range of projects across a wide variety of industries.

Raley earned his bachelor’s degree in acoustical engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.
