Elite Imaging selects comprehensive eRAD platform

GREENVILLE, S.C. - eRAD, a subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. (Nasdaq:RDNT), a leading provider of standards-based, web-centric radiology image and data management solutions, announced today that Elite Imaging will leverage a comprehensive suite of eRAD solutions to achieve its ambitious growth strategy.

"We're in it to multiply in size. Our growth strategy is to have ten times our current number of centers--quickly," said Rohit Navani, Chief Operating Officer of Elite Imaging. "eRAD offered a flexible and attractive pricing model plus the range of features we were looking for."

Elite Imaging will implement eRAD PACS, RIS, integrated Speech Recognition, Connect (eRAD's referring physician and patient portals), and RADAR for automated patient appointment reminders and education. eRAD will host the solution on the cloud, and nine child/caching servers will be deployed for Elite in the field. Across 15 sites in Florida, Elite Imaging currently performs 240,000 studies annually.

eRAD technology is ideal for environments like Elite's--high-volume, distributed traffic with dynamic growth. Cloud-hosting gives the group a secure, customizable imaging infrastructure without the complexities of IT administration, and Child Servers provide fast throughput and system redundancy across all sites.

"They delivered the solution that fit our needs exactly," said Navani. "eRAD knows how to be nimble and get things done quickly. Since that's how we're set up as well, it's a great match."

Seth Koeppel, SVP of Sales at eRAD, said: "Elite Imaging is exactly the reason we do what we do at eRAD. The challenge was integrating disparate workflows from centers which were acquired over time onto one, single enterprise-wide information system--which will be used by the entire Elite clinical and business teams. We also migrated a significant amount of data from different legacy PACS and RIS systems."

"At Elite, we believe in partnerships, not just vendor relationships," Navani said. "It comes down to people, and we were hooked by eRAD's commitment to our success. It was clear that everyone--from sales to service--understood our approach and our goals as a diagnostic outpatient network. We have complete confidence that they will meet a very aggressive timeline that we have in place, because we know they've done it before. It's that kind of 'whatever it takes' attitude that you want on your side."

"As impressed as I am with the performance and fit of our software at Elite, it was the professional services and implementation team that really stole the show for them," said Koeppel. "In context of the size, scope, and aggressive timeline, it was eRAD Services that really made this installation happen."
