Evolution Series hinged wall box from Legrand offers quick access to power, data, and A/V in multi-function spaces

As part of the Evolution Series of floor, wall and ceiling boxes, Legrand has introduced a new Wiremold® hinged wall box designed to provide quick and easy access to power, data and A/V connections. It is available in 4-gang and 8-gang configurations and is ideal for both remodel and new construction projects.

The hinged wall box is designed for large spaces such as lecture halls, ballrooms and conference rooms where frequently changing events often require a unique mix of power, data and A/V services. Legrand Senior Product Manager Michael Cole, said, “With the hinged wall box, users can quickly connect and disconnect power, data and A/V cables according to what the event requires. And, as an added benefit, whether the box is in use or not, the locking cover prevents unauthorized access.”

The hinged main door opens a full 180 degrees to provide convenient access. Boxes are designed to fit into standard 2" x 4" wall construction. Trade size knock-outs range from ¾" to 2" on the bottom and side.

A small egress door in the front of the box allows wires and cables to exit while the main door is secured. These all-steel boxes are painted white inside and out and can also be painted to coordinate with wall colors. A black painted version is also available.
