  • China has confirmed dozens of deaths related to the outbreak, with thousands sickened. 
  • The coronavirus has spread to the U.S., South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong and France. 
  • There is evidence that the virus is spread through human transmission. 
  • The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed five U.S. cases.
