Former valet driver charged in death of nurse practitioner at Milwaukee hospital

Froedtert policies require that contracted employees from third-party vendors follow the same background checks required for direct employees


Charges have been filed in the death of a nurse practitioner who was found dead in a parking garage at a Milwaukee hospital, according to an article on the CBS 58 website.

Kenneth Freeman, 27, is charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide in the death of Carlie Beaudin, a nurse practitioner at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Security footage showed the suspect standing behind a concrete pillar as Beaudin walked towards her car. The footage then showed the suspect talk briefly with Beaudin before she walked towards her car, running up behind her and kicking her to the ground. During the course of the assault, the man allegedly kicked and stomped on her multiple times. 

Freeman, has been identified as being formerly employed by a parking service provider as a valet on the Froedtert Hospital campus from January to October of 2018. Froedtert policies require that contracted employees from third-party vendors follow the same background checks required for direct employees, the hospital said.
