The Becker's Clinical Quality & Infection Control website has recently posted an article that includes  ten free, downloadable hand hygiene posters that can be printed out and posted in healthcare facilities. The posters include:

1. The Minnesota Department of Public Health offers two simple posters reminding people to wash their hands.

2. The Centers for Disease Control has a poster available in English and Spanish called "Clean Hands Save Lives: Protect patients, protect yourself" showing how the hand can transmit diseases.

3. Kimberly Clark offers a poster called "Effective Disinfection: It's in Your Hands" outlining steps for effective hand disinfection.

4. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Division of Epidemiology and Immunization, has created a poster geared towards children called "Wash your hands so you can stop germs" to guide them through four steps to properly wash their hands.

5. The Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services has a poster displaying statistics about food-borne illnesses, incentivizing people to follow proper hand hygiene.
