Fungal spores found in N.C. healthcare facility nursery during construction

The spores are common and generally not harmful

Fungal spores have been found in the Cape Fear Valley Hospital nursery during construction, according to an article on the Fay Observer website.

The construction project began Aug. 12 to address a leak caused by recent rain.

The construction process requires air quality testing, which is how the spores were found.
