HGA’s Stephanie Reem Elected to Healthcare Interior Designers Board of Directors


 
HGA's Stephanie Reem has been elected to the American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers (AAHID) Board of Directors, beginning January 1, 2019. The AAHID is the certification of interior designers qualified by education, examination, training, and experience to provide interior design services to the healthcare industry.
 
“The AAHID Board of Directors is committed to advancing the practice of healthcare interior design by supporting positive change within the profession and creating outstanding healthcare environments that promote healing,” Reem said. "This is an exciting opportunity to share expertise industry-wide.” She previously served on the AAHID Board, including Treasurer (2012) and President (2013).
 
An Associate Vice President and Senior Interior Designer, Reem specializes in healthcare design. She has more than 20 years of architecture, interior design, and planning experience. Her project expertise includes behavioral/mental health facilities, pediatric healthcare facilities, academic medical centers, birth centers, and ambulatory care centers.
 
Reem is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Certified Healthcare Interior Designer (CHID), and Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC). She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota.
