100 healthcare workers recognized for demonstrating safety, quality and leadership in their hand hygiene practices

100 individual healthcare workers, "Hand Hygiene All-Americans,"  have been recognized for demonstrating safety, quality and leadership in their hand-hygiene practices, according to an article on the Becker's Infection Control & Clinical Quality website.

To qualify for the award, established by Proventix, healthcare workers must have more than 1,500 hours of observed RFID badge time, more than 3,000 patient room visits and an "exceptional" compliance ranking.

"Proventix congratulates the 2014 Hand Hygiene All-Americans for their recognition as leaders in quality improvement," said Harvey Nix, CEO.
